All Dressed Up … With Nowhere to Go 2020 Harry, 1, stands in his firefighter costume on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 in Chapel Hill at a haunted cruise ship walkthrough held by the community. "This is his first Halloween and he doesn't even get to really experience it." Lucas, 6, pictured with his family in their Halloween costumes on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 in Chapel Hill at a haunted cruise ship walkthrough held by the community. "I miss being able to trick-or-treat with my friends", said Lucas. Children dressed in Halloween costumes made sure to mask up at the community event held in Chapel Hill where adults pushed candy through chutes in order to avoid contact with others. Lucas, 6, waits for candy to be dispensed through the chute. A skeleton mermaid completes the decor at the haunted cruise ship Halloween tour. Alex, 6, and Kate, 4, compare their candy stashes. Candy sits in a basket, waiting to slide down the chute to the children attending the event. "This is fun ... I guess," Lucas ponders to no one in particular as he waits his turn. Alexander, 3, is planning to celebrate Halloween at home this year with his mother, father, and grandpa. "I'm immunocompromised so this is the best he is going to get this year," said Linda, Alexander's mother. Alexander wanted to be Spider-Man this year, but his mom said his old bumblebee costume still fit and will have to suffice. "I really want to trick-or-treat with my friends from school, but mom says I can't."
