Children dressed in Halloween costumes made sure to mask up at the community event held in Chapel Hill where adults pushed candy through chutes in order to avoid contact with others.

Alexander, 3, is planning to celebrate Halloween at home this year with his mother, father, and grandpa. "I'm immunocompromised so this is the best he is going to get this year," said Linda, Alexander's mother.
